Steps in multifocal soft contact lens fitting

1. Pure vision / Soflens

2. Proclear multifocal

3. If ADD +1.50 to +1.75DS --> use too high ADD with additonal -0.25 / -0.50 to distance power

4. Do BV, if not good , do monoVA, distance problem will be caused by near.

5. Air Optix / DACP

6. Near not good --> +0.50 to non dominant , diatance not good --> reduce dominant eye add

7. Proclear

8. Seed 1 day pure

9. Start with type A, regardless of age , near not good --> reduce minus on non dominant eye , distance not good --> icrease minus on dominant eye

10. More plus on non-dominant eye --> +1.25 DS

11. Clariti 1 day multifocal

12. Improve distance --> dominant eye add minus , improve near --> non-dominant add plus
