6.1. Within the Australian Curriculum under Technologies, content elaborations provide a deeper level of explanation of the content descriptors. Each content descriptor has an elaboration at every band level from foundation to year 10. Content elaborations assist with a more specific learning goals and explanations but they are not compulsory points that need to be specifically taught to every student.

11.1. Within the Australian curriculum under Technologies, content descriptors are provided at year band level from foundation to year 10. They are learning goals which students must achieve and are arranged in sequence of development of concepts. They describe knowledge and skills that need to be taught and learnt.

12. Achievement Standards

12.1. Within the Australian curriculum under Technologies, at the end of each band level, the standards of achievement that each student’s expected to achieve, complete, and understand are clearly stated. This gives the teacher and students a clear overview understanding of what they must achieve over the course of the year.
