2.1.1.2. race is a social construction, it is also true that social constructs that are seen to be authentic and real have actual consequence

2.1.1.2.1. example: police brutality, happens due to discrimination, stereotyping and constant bias and prejudice. All of these things are because people are their authentic self

2.1.1.2.2. Race is real as far as how we behave and communicate about other people depending on their skin colour, and how some people enjoy the luxury of not having to consider how their skin colour influences how they are treated.

The point of the assignment was to represent the things in our lives that our above the surface that people assume its apart of who we are, and those things below the surface that is much harder to identify.

5.1. is referring to the east, southeast and south asian communities in north america.

5.1.1. this concept is the idea that this group is considered to be inherently at an advantageous compared to other minority groups, simply because it's the stereotype placed on this minority

6.1. policies and practices embedded in our institutions that refers and promotes the belief of prejudice, stereotyping and discrimination against black people.

7.1. Historically and theoretically, the concept of social justice holds that all individuals, despite the legal and political opinions, everyone has a right to obtain wealth, health, justices no matter their circumstances

7.1.1.1.1. A theory focusing on the issues that lead to gender inequality.

7.1.1.2. Critical disability Theory

7.1.1.2.1. The goal of critical disability theory is to encourage the change of society so that disabled people in all their diversity are equally capable and fully embedded within their communities.

7.1.1.3.1. CRT is a lens that was created to look at the embedded racism in our society and law institutions.
