2.1.1. Science project where students earn grades based on participation and if they followed the steps and scientific method correctly with evidence. Oral responses/Oral presentations that can demonstrate that the students have performed the task needed. Such as a presentation of the solar system.

3. Diagnostic

3.1. An assessment that shows where the student is at the time of the assessment. This will show what the students score high or low in. And the information of the assessment is used to shape what is to come after the diagnostic assessment.

4. Formative

4.1. Assessments that give instant data based on either questioning or observations by a teacher

4.1.1. . Circulating and asking students how they got X for an answer choice. Such as why the little hand of the clock is at 3 and why the big is at 12 and asking what that means. Checking for Understanding

5. Benchmark

5.1. Assessment that measures if students are at X level in reading, or math

5.1.1. Guided reading with leveled books and measuring student's level of independence when reading or how much they comprehended/decoded from the text. Six weeks tests
