5.1. The standards of conduct expected by other digital technology users

6.1. The legal rights and restrictions governing technology use.

6.2. Appropriate- Buying a song and downloading it from an approite website.

6.3. Inappropriate- If some one downloads a copyright music or copys a copyrighted movie.

7. Digital Rights and Responsibilities

7.1. The privileges and freedoms extended to all digital technology users, and the behavioral expectations that come with them.

7.2. Appropriate- Addressing the website after using it for a project or other paper.

7.3. Inappropriate- Not mentioning the website in the project or paper you are doing.

8. Digital Security

8.1. The precautions that all technology users must take to guarantee their personal safety and the security of their network.

8.2. Appropriate- Does not give out to much personal information.

8.3. Inappropriate- Gives all their information out on a not secure website.

9. Digital Literacy

9.1. The capability to use digital technology and knowing when and how to use it.

9.2. Appropriate- Using new technology in new ways.

9.3. Inappropriate- Not knowing how to use technology in any other place but the classroom.
