1. What the main points and ideas(dimensions)?

1.1. Basic awareness of right and wrong an our inclination to do good (common sense, natural law)

1.2. Development of awareness of truth and goodness

1.3. Making a moral judgement about the right and wrong of a particular act

2. What is an informed conscience?

2.1. A conscience that is educated (informed) and developed through constant use and examination. A conscience constantly being exposed to new experiences and surroundings to enable us to educate our conscience about new things and actions and new ways to view what makes and action moral and immoral.

3. Malformed Conscience

3.1. When a conscience is in error (where it's perception of right and wrong are warped or incorrect or where it is not educated or informed).

3.2. This may not be the fault of the person of malformation as the fault may lie in the surroundings that have influenced the person growing up.

4. Symptoms of Malformed Conscience

4.1. Rationalization-negotiating the reason behind the action/ making excuses(they deserve it, they can handle it)

4.2. Trivialization-making excuses based on society's view and actions(if everyone is doing it then I can do it)

4.3. Misinformation-misleading/false information used to calculate decisions by your conscience

4.4. End justifies the means-when the outcome is so important that everything is done to achieve it, whatever it takes

4.5. To an End-engaging in destructive actions with hopes of end result

4.6. Difficulty to reason-acting impulsively without giving much thought to the consequences or means

5. Examination of Conscience

5.1. A time of reflection where a person takes time to themselves to reflect on their actions and how they've affected others and how they are good and bad in your eyes. It is a time of quiet where one can be with honest with themselves while they look and learn from their actions as they examine how their conscience/decision and decision making has affected the world. This goes hand in hand with Duty to Inform Conscience and what is an informed conscience as this examination is part of how we educate our conscience and is one of the duties we must take up as our duty to inform our conscience.

6. What is it?

6.1. Conscience is moral decision making based on our understanding of what is right and wrong (moral and immoral) which is constantly changing as we educate and inform on what is right and wrong in your eyes from your experiences and your surroundings.

7. How is it formed?

7.1. We form it based on our surroundings and experiences we have had in our life time. it is always changing as we experience new things and learn new information throughout life.

8. Types of Malformed Conscience

8.1. Lax conscience-when a person doesn’t employ a process of conscientious decision making, there by not thinking about morality of action he/she performs

8.2. Erroneous conscience-when a person follows a process of conscientious decision making but unwittingly makes a wrong decision

8.3. Sin- when people act contrary to their conscience and purposely choose to do wrong “a deliberate thought, word, deed, or omission contrary to the eternal law of God”

9. Duty to Inform Conscience

9.1. Our Duty to Educate and develop our conscience throughout our lives through constant examination, use in decision making and exposure to new experiences and lessons. Our duty to try and constantly mature, evolve and adapt our conscience to new experiences and things we have learned. Related to what an informed conscience is which tells us how, this tells us our duty to do the things it tells us on how to create an informed conscience.
