2.1.2. Are you a thing, are you flesh, or are you Spirit?

2.3. Who is master and what is house?

2.3.1. Master

2.3.1.1. A master is one in charge, one with authority, one who knows and has the strength to apply how things work.

2.3.1.1.1. A master is not limited by a fickle mind, is not disturbed by confusion and doubts.

2.3.2. What is a house?

2.3.2.1. A house is a protected space

2.3.2.1.1. to keep dirt and weather outside.

2.3.2.1.2. to keep thieves and distractions outside.

2.3.2.2. An atmosphere in which you feel comfortable and safe.

2.3.2.3. It has structures, tools and supplies that support your natural functioning and wellbeing.

2.4. What is the narrow door?

2.4.1. Your one-pointedness, your dedication.

2.4.2. The Bible is a tool

2.4.2.1. to understand human nature.

2.4.2.2. to learn how to use our greatest gifts: mind and speech.

2.4.2.3. to examine ourself and to be clear about what we really want.

2.5. MAKE EVERY EFFORT! Luke 13:24

2.5.1. We need to do something!

2.5.2. "Be still, and know that I am God."

2.5.3. "Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full."

2.5.3.1. The character "Jesus" is saying those words.

2.5.3.2. He introduces himself as "I AM the Lord your God", "I AM with you always".

2.5.3.3. ... but we have ears and do not hear, and eyes and do not see.

2.5.3.4. To repent is your childlike innocence, curiosity, hunger and bravery to change your perspective 180º!

2.5.3.4.1. Be open, interested, brave, vulnerable.

2.5.3.4.2. Don't pay lip-service, don't use scripture as a pain-killer.

2.5.3.4.3. Examine your own thinking and identity.

2.5.3.4.4. Don't be intimidated by thoughts and feelings.

2.5.3.4.5. Be willing to die to your old ideas and assumptions, no matter how dear and intimate.

2.5.4. Thinking is a tool to understand and leave behind the veil that our own thinking creates.

2.5.4.1. "You pore over the Scriptures because you presume that by them you possess eternal life. These are the very words that testify about Me, 40yet you refuse to come to Me to have life. 41I do not accept glory from men."

2.5.4.1.1. The LORD is not "another", it is the absence of our flawed thinking and false identity.

2.5.4.1.2. How many more years of suffering?

2.5.4.1.3. Truth is an activity in our own consciousness.

2.5.4.2. The Bible is an amazing tool to rediscover our true nature as the children of God.

2.5.4.2.1. It is written as a story, as a concession to our current state of ignorance.

2.5.4.2.2. The Bible seems to relate to outside people, places, things, circumstances, morals, time and space; but all those are only pointers to your unique intimate discovery of yOur true nature, beyond the confinements of what you believe to know.

2.6. Good news!

2.6.1. "Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces. 7Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.…"
