Mitosis
by Derek Caskey
1. Anaphase
1.1. In anaphase the chromosomes split at their centromeres and go to either end of the cell.
2. Telophase
2.1. In telophase the chromosomes unsquooshe and form two new nuclei and the cell membrane pinches into two new cells.
3. Prophase
3.1. First in prophase the cell grows and the chromatin squooshe into chromosems and loose the nuclear membrane.
4. Metaphase
4.1. Then in metaphase the chromosomes line up down the middle of the cell while spindle fibers from the centrioles spread across and connect to the centromeres of the cell.
