1. Criterion related Evidence-Do the test results match up with other known measuresof characteristics. Scores from a test are correlated with an external concurrent and prediative (Kubiszyn & Borich, 2010).

2. Content for Validity evidence- is a test established by inspecting test questions to see whether they correspond to what the user decides should be covered by the test (Kubiszyn & Borich, 2010). "Face validity" -does the test look like it measures what it is supposed to measure? Example: Asking a student if they are feeling happy or sad and making a checklist about perso's mood.

3. Construct validity evidence-refers to the association of the test with an underlying theory. it is a logical explanation or rationale that can account for the interrelationships among a set of variables (Kubiszyn & Borich, 2010).

4. Concurrent criterion related-Comparing test with another indicator at the same time..measures that can be administered at the same time as the measure to be validated (Kubiszyn & Borich, 2010).

5. Predictive validity evidence-refers to how well the test predicts some future behavior of the examinees (Kubiszyn &Borich, 2010). Example: Applicant who scores low on test (but passed & were hired) had more disciplinary citations in their record a year later than the person who scored higher on the test.
