4. frameworks, and tools

5. Scientific knowledge

6. How my ideas changed?

6.1. Earlier i only linked the word technology with electric cars, robots, automated machines, Artificial technology equipments, smartphones, laptops, etc.

6.2. However, now after reading the modules I have understood a complete different, more generalized perception of technology.

6.3. Now I understand technology is not only about these expensive devices, tools and equipments we are using regularly. Rather, its hidden in each stage of our daily routine, from usage of a pen to the backpacks we wear everything has the essence of technology in it.

10.1. Kumar, Kumar , & Persuad (1999). "technology has two primary components: 1) a physical component which comprises of items such as products, tooling, equipments, blueprints, techniques, and processes; and 2) the informational component which consists of know-how in management, marketing, production, quality control, reliability, skilled labor and functional areas."

10.2. Isman, (2012, 208). "Human’s use of technology involves not only machines (e.g., computer hardware) and instruments, but also includes structured relations with other humans, machines, and the environment. In short, technology is more than a collection of machines and devices. To go beyond simplistic intuitions about technology requires investigation of the human mind and socio-cultural environment as well as interactions with technological artifacts."

10.3. Isman (2012). "When people think of “technology,” they tend to think of human artifacts such as machines, electronic devices, scientific hardware, or industrial manufacturing systems. However, a formal definition (College Dictionary) of technology indicates that it has a more general meaning which includes any “practical application of knowledge” or “manner of accomplishing a task”.

10.4. Hughes (2004, 1)."Technology is messy and complex. It is difficult to define and to understand. In its variety, it is full of contradictions…Yet today most people in the industrialized world reduce technology’s complexity, ignore its contradictions, and see it as little more than gadgets and as a handmaiden of commercial capitalism and the military. Too often, technology is narrowly equated with computers and the Internet."
