1.1. Obama married Michelle Robinson on October 3rd, 1992.

1.2. They share two beautiful daughters named Malia and Sasha(Natasha) Obama.

1.3. Obama promised his daughter a dog after he won the election and he kept his promise with a dog named Bo.

2. Obama's inauguration

2.1. Febraury 10, 2007 , Obama annouced his candidacy for presidency.

2.2. With a large number of supporters, Obama beat out Hilary Clinton for the candidacy for president.

2.3. With the electoral votes being 365 to 173, Obama beat out his conpetitor John McCain in a landscape for president elected.

2.4. On January 20, 2011 Barack Hussein Obama became the first African American to become president of the United States of American.

2.5. President Obama helped pass laws such as Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Health Care and Education Recconcilitation Act, and also ended the involvement of the US in the war in Iraq.

2.6. On November 6th, 2012, President Obama was re-elected into presidency as being the first African American to get elected into down terms.

3. Early Life

3.1. Barack Hussein Obama II was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

3.2. His parents are Barrack Obama Sr. and Stanley Ann Dunham.

3.3. As a young child, Obama moved to and from Indonesia with his mother and step father.

3.4. On 1995, Obama's mother died of cancer and well as his father passing in 1982 in a car accident.
