Conserving Earth's Resources

1. Reduce
1.1. Instead of buying something you won't use often, try borrowing it.
1.2. Save energy by turning off the lights when you leave.
1.3. Save water by turning off the faucet when you brush your teeth.
2. Reuse
2.1. Use both sides of writing paper.
2.2. Store food in reusable plastic containers.
2.3. Don't throw out cloths, instead donate them to charity.
3. Recycle
3.1. Buy products that contain recycled materials.
3.2. Be familiar with what can and cannot be recycled.
4. Decrease pollution/waste
4.1. Carry a "no-waste lunch"
4.2. Lower the thermostat on your water heater.
4.3. Wash clothes with warm or cold water instead of hot.
