2.1.1. According to Wikipedia the person who started the 20th century blues genre was Antonio Maggio's i got the blues however it is debatable. but more commonly referred to as African Americans many of them newly freed slaves. the newly freed slaves sung about there troubles.

4.1.1. My opinion on the Blues are that in there time period the blues must of been very upbeat and vibrant therefore discarding its title THE BLUES however personally I enjoy the Blues and there lyrics and there background music was entertaining and finding out that during the blues era they used bottlenecks to adjust the sound of the guitar string also if you move the string down it also influences the sound of guitar for instance if you listen to johnny cash Folsom prison blues my favorite blues song is try me by James Brown.

5.1. Interpretation

5.1.1. To make the blues a modern day sensation i can change the background music to thing that appeal to the younger generation however keeping the blues the way it is is important so we don't lose our ancestors of music

6.2. the instruments used were saxophone,guitar,harmonica,trombone,trumpet and string base and drums they also use chords(two notes that create a harmony)

The slave trade started in the 15th century after the Portuguese started exploring the west coast of Africa however the first exports were in small amounts many of the slaves were of black ethics and coulored skin they were transported from western Africa to the EU,USA or Brasil they were then enslaved and used to farm sugar or to do hard labour they also lived in poor living conditions
