My Creative History

1. Timeline

1.1. Made art as far back as I can remember.

1.2. Art in school from Kinder to Senior year.

1.2.1. Knew I wanted to be an art teacher in high school.

1.3. 2 College Degrees in Art Fields from Middle Tennessee State University.

1.3.1. Majors: Digital Animation and Art Education.

1.3.2. Minors: Art and Secondary Education

1.4. Elementary art teacher for 7 years now.

2. Risks

2.1. I like to break the "rules" and parameters that I'm given.

2.2. Leaving my previous job of 4 years, to be the first art teacher at a school that hadn't had art for 6 years prior.

3. Frist Center for the Visual Arts

3.1. 1st art related job.

3.1.1. Education department teaching assistant.

3.1.2. Summer Camp TA.

3.1.2.1. turned into camp instructor.

3.2. helped me to be comfortable with teaching younger grades.

3.3. Knew I wanted to work there the first time I walked through the doors.
