1.1. Taal Volcano

1.1.1. Taal Volcano is one of the most visited tourist spots in Batangas. Standing 311+ meters above sea level, it is considered as the smallest active volcano in the Philippines located within a lake, Taal Lake. Inside the volcano there is another lake, Taal Crater Lake.

1.2. Fortune Island

1.2.1. Fortune Island is one of the beautiful places to visit in Batangas famous for its crumbling pillars called the “Acropolis” from the Acropolis of Athens in Greece.

2. Rizal

2.1. Pililia Wind Farm

2.1.1. Alternergy Philippine Holdings Corporation (APHC) was awarded by the Department of Energy (DOE) the exclusive right to develop wind power projects in 3 locations: Pililla in Rizal, Abra de Ilog in Occidental Mindoro, and Kalayaan, Laguna. These locations were among those identified under the Philippine Wind Atlas as potential sites for wind farms due to good to excellent wind resources

2.2. Wawa Dam and Mountain

2.2.1. Wawa Dam was built during American colonial era in 1909 as the only source of water supply for the people in the city. Today, it is an abandoned reservoir visited mostly by hikers as the place is in between Mt. Pamitinan and Mt. Binacayan.Brgy. Wawa is mostly known as the jump-off point when you trek to either Mt. Pamitinan or Mt. Binacayan.

4.1. Imus Cathedral

4.1.1. Imus Cathedral is one of the historical churches in the Philippines. The ceiling, structure and precious relics are proof of its historic significance. Cathedral of Our Lady of Pillar popularly called as Imus Cathedral is a perfect spot in Cavite especially when it is October 12. The reason is that Our Lady of the Pillar and Saint John the Baptist are the patron saints in Imus City which they celebrate their fiesta every October 12.

4.2. General Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine

4.2.1. General Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine is the home of the first president in the Philippines. This is where the First Filipino Flag was waved marked the Independence of Filipinos from the rule of Spain on June 12, 1898. This is a 1, 325 square meters mansion of General Emilio Aguinaldo which he himself donated to the government “to perpetuate the spirit of the Philippine Revolution of 1896 that put an end to Spanish colonization of the country.

5. Laguna

5.1. Rizal Shrines

5.1.1. Rizal Shrine The Jose Rizal Shrine in Calamba, Laguna, the birthplace of the Philippines' national hero, is one of the most frequented historical and tourist sites in Laguna. An average of 270,000 tourists visit this shrine annually. According to the National Historical Institute (NHI), "It was in that house that the boy (Jose Rizal) was shaped and molded and who would become the finest expression of his race."

5.2. Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery

5.2.1. The Nagcarlan Undergroun Cemetery in Laguna is a burial site located inside, or more accurately, beneath a church. It is the only one of its kind in the Philippines. The cemetery is considered a national historical landmark because its underground crypt was used as a secret meeting place in 1896 by Filipino revolutionaries or Katipuneros.
