1. The New World (1492)

1.1. Christopher Columbus

1.1.1. Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492. Once he found the New World Wanted to bring some Indians back to Spain to show Ferdinand and Isabella what they have discovered.

1.1.1.1. Clombus and his settlers planned to enslave the indians and find gold.

1.1.1.2. the Indians were treated very badly by Columbus.

1.1.1.2.1. When Columbus brought the Africans and Native Americans. The view of the difference between the Europeans and non-Europeans affected the social, political, and economic relationship.

1.2. The Colombian exchange (slave trade)

1.2.1. Trades slaves and other food or materialistic things from the New World to the Old World.

1.3. From 1500-1501, San Domingo that is now today the Dominican Republic, was the New Worlds first international slave port.

5.3.1.1. It was a ship that transported African Americans over seas to the New World.

5.4. Southern Society

5.4.1. The social, political, and economic gap between blacks and whites was very large. There was a major difference of status between a slave and a white settler.

6.1.1. there were two racial mix groups.

6.1.1.2. Mestizo is a mix of European and Native (Indigenous person)
