3. Complete a conformity assessment (often satisfied by testing to the appropriate standards)
4. Create and sign an EU Declaration of Conformity
5. Affix a CE mark
6. Manufacture products with Factory Production Control procedures to ensure the products remain in conformity with the Directive, in particular keeping a register of complaints of non- conforming equipment
7. Ensure that equipment placed on the market bears a type, batch or serial number or other element allowing its identification
8. Indicate on the equipment the name, registered tradename or registered trademark and the postal address of the manufacturer/authorised representative
9. Ensure the product is accompanied by instructions and safety information in the language of the country in which the product is sold. Such instructions and safety information, as well as any labelling, shall be clear, understandable and intelligible
