3. Spyware is a type of malicious software that collects information about computer users without them knowing.

4. Retail software is computer software that is used by end consumers. It is sold restrictedly.

5. Shareware is software that does not cost but usually lacks in functionality, availability and convenience.

6. Software is a group of programs that tell a computer instructions on what to do and how to do it.

7. Developers, designers and programmers create software.

8. I use Internet explorer, Microsoft, Norton Antivirus.

9. There are 3 main categories of software.

9.1. Application software is used for performing general user tasks or specific purposes, e.g web browser, word processing.

9.2. System software is the software used to start and run your computer.

9.3. Computer programming tools are used to translate programme source codes so that you are able to use them.
