3.1. remember + gerund, to talk about memories in the past.

3.1.1. remember+infinitive, to remember someone sht they have to do

3.2. forget+infinitive, when you want to do sth but you forget about it

3.2.1. forget+gerund, opposite of remember, forget about a memory, sth you have done in the past

3.3. regret+gerund, to feel sorry about sth you did in the past and you wish you hadn't done it.

3.3.1. regret+infinitive, to give sbdy bad news, in quite a formal way

4. try+gerund, when we do the verb, but it doesn't help us in some other goal

4.1. try+infinitive, when we don't succeed in doing the verb.

5. both infinitives + gerunds can take an object before the formation, e.g Do you mind my borrowing some money?
