Importance of teaching pronunciation to secondary students

1.1. Teaching pronunciation is something that should be taught since elementary school, although for secondary students this could be something not that easy is very important to work on it to improve their communication skills.

1.2. All the skills have to be taught with the same importance in order to give them adequate foreign language teaching.

1.3. Look for different strategies to teach pronunciation is a crucial tool for a good environment in class.

2.1. I think pronunciation is very important in order to understand each other, of course taking into account that accent is not necessarily something that we have to erase, maybe to reduce but no to erase.

3.1. Look for interesting pronunciation activities to catch the student's attention and to help them to improve their communication skills in a didactical way.

5.1. It is very usual for most teachers to focus on reading and writing skills while speaking skills are not taken into account by them which is prejudicial to develop good pronunciation.
