This essay seeks to argue points of agreement and contradictions between the design of the Theatre School and the key concepts of Henri Lefebvre from the text ‘Production of Space’.por Ng Jia Suen
1. KEY IDEA: Monuments have the quality to engage with humans over long periods of time.
2. KEY IDEA: Different people have different experiences with buildings at different time.
3. ISSUE: Interaction between individuals and interaction between individuals and the building
3.1. How a theatre school could provide a common space for everyone and allow the individual to eliminate distractions from the external environment
3.2. Self contained environment which students can get various kinds of resources and guidance.
3.3. Integrate the spaces together for closer interaction between students (eg. study of body movement & body consciousness)
4. Personalized experience of particular spaces with different groups of people
4.1. Users gain different experiences when they are in a different community.

5. KEY IDEA: Town no longer serve the people in them.

8. ISSUE: Spaces must be experienced through all the senses. "Not text but textures".
8.1. Students do not touch, see or hear passively, they feel, look and listen actively.
8.2. Pop up spaces which are the communal/ collaborative spaces with different volumes catered to different activities.
8.3. Transition of emotions when penetrating through a community to get into another community with the connecting flights.

9. ISSUE: Wants and Needs of individuals in their school
9.1. Students want visual connection with nature. (thermal comfort)
9.2. Students want calm and tranquil the most followed by hope and euphoria.
9.3. Engaging users; journey from milestone to milestone through a calm and tranquil environment.
9.4. Students want an environment with less noise distractions. (noise level)
10. ISSUE: Materials in the spaces will speak for the space and help to mold the characteristics of the space
