2. TASTE BUDS AND NOSE WORK TOGETHER
2.1. They let the brain know exactly what it’s tasting.
2.2. All humans have taste buds but not all have the same amount or the same sense of smell which interferes with the way each person tastes food.
2.3. Both work together to deliver precise information to the brain to let it know what it’s tasting.
2.4. Taste buds send signals to the brain as chemicals from the food as the smell from it enters the nose.
3. Human taste is much more than just liking or dislking certain foods. Your type of tongue affects your food choices and accordingly your health.
4. HOW THE TONGUE WORKS
4.1. Very tiny hairs at the tip of the taste buds help identify weather a food is sweet sour bitter or salty.
4.2. It’s made of a group of muscles and taste buds that work together to recognize the taste of food.
4.3. Taste buds send signals to the brain as chemicals from the food as the smell from it enters the nose.
5. EVERYONE TASTES FOOD DIFFERENT
5.1. They are born with a gene that makes them sensitive to bitter foods.
5.2. Since they have more taste buds they can feel more easily fatty foods.
5.3. For every type of taster food is a completely different feeling.
6. 3. SUPER-TASTERS
6.1. Four to six times as many taste buds as non-tasters.
6.2. More likely to be women found in Africa, Asia, and South America.
6.3. Lower risk for heart diseases.
7. 1. NON-TASTERS
7.1. Half the number of taste buds as medium tasters.
7.2. Make up 25% of the population.
7.3. More resilient to all types of flavorful foods.
8. 2. MEDIUM TASTERS
8.1. Usually have 10,000 taste buds.
8.2. Make up 50% of the world population.
8.3. Only avoid non/preferences foods.

10. UNIQUE TASTE
10.1. Super tasters live in a world full of color while non tasters live in a colorless one.
10.2. More likely to be women found in Africa Asia and South America.
10.3. Super tasters think that a lot of the foods they try are too strong.
