1. How a nationwide 5G network deployment will push Malaysia forward

6. 5G technology travel
6.1. Commenced with the establishment of the National 5G Special Forces in November 2018, consisting of 114 members involving service providers, academia, ministries and agencies.
6.2. MCMC has identified that the implementation of national 5G will be developed on the band (frequency spectrum) 700MHz, 3.5GHz and 26/28GHz, with initial offerings using the first two lines, to be managed by a consortium of various licensees.
6.3. Stakeholders and companies are undertaking 5G demonstration projects in Kedah, Perak, Pulau Pinang, Selangor, Terengganu and Kuala Lumpur involved an initial investment of RM143 million.
