2.4. invaded around the pacific to start WWII

3.1. Got invaded in WWI and was able to hold the line

3.2. Got invaded in WWII and lost very quickly

4. Germany

4.1. Nationalistic

4.2. WWI wanted land to compete with major powers

4.3. Came into war due to a treaty with austria WWI

4.4. WWII wanted to get back what they lost during WWI as well as be self sufficient

4.5. Started WWII by invading poland

5.1. ww1 very defensive and troops sat in trenches

5.2. ww2 offensive mobile modern war. total war sides bombed civillians and whole countries

6.1. ww1 caused by small balkan countries fighting then more counteies getting involved and a willingness to fight

9.2. ww2 great depression caused people to seek a different ootion than the current government leading to the rise of hitler and other leaders
