1.1. Low uncertainly avoidance: extent to which people desire to predict what is going to happen

1.2. High uncertainly avoidance: have low tolerance for uncertainty and need to control

2. Power Distance

2.1. High power distance: unequal distribution of power is accepted

2.2. Low power distance: member prefer power to be more equally distributed

3. Long/Short Term Orientation

3.1. Long-term Orientation: values static rewards in the here and now

3.2. Short-term Orientation: emphasizes potential future rewards

4. Individualism-Collcetivism

4.1. Individualistic: values personal rights and responsibilities

4.2. Collectivistic: values community and collaboration

5. Context

5.1. Low-context: speakers use words to convey the meaning of a message

5.2. High-context: much of message understood from context

6. Chronemics

6.1. Monochromic: view time as series of small units that occur sequentially

6.2. Polychromic: view time as continuous flow

7. Masculinity-Femininity

7.1. Masculine: men and women are expected to adhere to traditional sex roles

7.2. Feminine: people assume variety of roles regardless of sex
