4. Sport and professionalism in malaysia

4.1. Malaysian sports organisation: sports development is carried out by voluntarily organisations. Affiliates by Olympic Sports Council.

4.1.1. Government task is limited to responsibility by Ministry Of Youth and Sports, Malaysia Sports Council,l and Malaysia Schools Sports Council.

4.1.2. Responsible as sports planning. Develop sports and encourage sports programs.

4.2. Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) (MOM)

4.2.1. Established in 1953 with 42 affiliates members.

4.2.2. Roles: active participation in international sports competition organised by International Olympic Commission (IOS), such as Olympic Games.

4.2.3. Role 2: Selection of athletes represent the country, rectify trainings by the affiliates members, and help athletes for overseas competition.
