1. Aspects to highlight

1.1. Important places

1.1.1. St. Petersburg

1.1.1.1. In this place most of the events of the play take place, this place represents where the characters come from and the place where they live and carry out their adventures.

1.1.2. The graveyard

1.1.2.1. In the graveyard is where Tom and Huck witness a murder, they witnessed Injun Joe kill the Doctor and frame Muff Potter who was with them in the graveyard.

1.1.3. Jackson's Island

1.1.3.1. On this island Tom and Huck were able to forget for a moment everything they saw the night of the doctor's murder, it helped them to feel happy and get out of the fear they felt for that situation.

1.1.4. The cave

1.1.4.1. In the cave Tom discovers that Injun Joe was there, and talking to Huck they assumed that the treasure could be found there, so after getting lost in the cave, they returned to see if they found the treasure and they did, but they also found the corpse. from Injun Joe.

1.2. Main characters

1.2.1. Tom Sawyer

1.2.1.1. The main character lives with his aunt, is clever, mischievous and likes to have fun with his friends in St. Petersburg, who have many adventures.

1.2.2. Huckleberry Finn

1.2.2.1. He is a dirty kid who lives on the streets, his father is an alcoholic, he doesn't go to school and his mothers think he is a bad influence, but for his friends he is a lot of fun.

1.2.3. Joe Harper

1.2.3.1. He is a great friend of Tom and Huck, who enjoy and have many experiences together.

1.2.4. Becky Thatcher

1.2.4.1. She is the new girl in town, who has stolen tom's heart; they quickly become friends.

1.2.5. Injun Joe

1.2.5.1. He is a very dangerous man, a thief and murderer, who blames his crimes on other people, and meets an unexpected end.

2. In the cave

2.1. At Becky's birthday picnic at the river where Tom and his friends were alone, they played and found a cave that was nearby, Becky and Tom were together but they got lost while playing inside it.

2.1.1. Becky was worried but Tom told her that they would find a way out of her. So Tom took a rope and tied it to him and Becky to be together, after touring the cave they find Injun Joe, but he gets scared and leaves.

2.1.2. While Huck was investigating the treasure, the poor boy passed out on the cold streets and Mrs. Doglas invited him to stay at her house for a while. While that happened he didn't know anything about Tom but all of St. Petersburg did, since they didn't know where Tom and Becky were because they hadn't returned from the day on the boat.

2.1.3. After a while the children found a hole where only their little bodies could fit so they only let themselves out.

2.1.4. After the children who had disappeared for several days appeared, they decided to investigate the cave and found Injun Joe dead, so they decided to prevent the entry of people and especially children to this place.

2.1.5. After what happened, Tom is talking to Huck about the treasure and the presence of Injun Joe in the cave and they decided to go see if they found the treasure.

3. Under the croos

3.1. The day after Injun Joe's funeral, Tom and Huck slowly drove out of town and talked about Becky's picnic, the cave, and the Injun Joe. They were a little disappointed because they thought they would not find the money from the treasury.

3.1.1. But when Huck found out that Injun Joe was in the cave, he analyzed and realized that Injun Joe hid the money there, so they both decide to go in search of the money.

3.1.2. After spending 20 minutes by boat to the cave, they entered it and began to search, they found a smoke cross on the wall (as the sign of the Spanish and Injun Joe, which was where the treasure was), then they began to search. They dug and found a room with a bottle of Whisky, a bed and a money box.

3.1.3. They quickly took the box of money through town and when they arrived at Aunt Polly's house there were a large number of people watching, shortly after they opened the box in front of Aunt Polly where twelve thousand dollars were found. At that time Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn were the the richest people in St. Petersburg.

4. Tom Sawyer likes adventures.

4.1. When everyone is asleep, Tom Sawyer comes out of his bedroom window to meet his friends. he and Joe Harper and Huckleberry live an exciting life.

4.1.1. They search for ghosts, dig for treasure.

4.1.2. Dig for treasure

4.1.3. Take a boat up the Mississippi to Jackson Island - swim.

4.1.4. Fish and sleep under the stars.

5. Tom and his friends

5.1. Tom is a very clever boy, his aunt is in charge of him after his mother's death. He is very naughty and always likes to play with his friends.

5.1.1. 1. Tom on Saturday morning had work to do for his aunt, he had to paint a big fence, but he was bored, painting would leave him no time to play. To get it done quickly he decided to convince and persuade each of his friends to paint for him making it attractive and exciting for them to paint, and he succeeded. After they finished painting the whole fence Aunt Polly let him play.

5.1.2. 2. Monday morning Tom heads to school, on the way he meets Huck who has a dead cat. Huck invites him to go to the graveyard at midnight, as he believes the dead cat can call ghosts; after setting up the meeting, Huck signals tom through his bedroom window to go to the graveyard.

5.1.3. 3. After talking to Huck, Tom arrives late to class, his teacher when he saw that he was late was upset, at the time that Tom wanted to defend himself he could not speak when he noticed a beautiful girl who had come to his classroom, in order to sit next to her he made his teacher angry telling him that he talked to Huck before coming and the teacher forced him to sit next to Becky the new girl.

6. In the graveyard

6.1. It was already Monday night and Tom was lying in bed waiting for Huck's signal to go and bury the cat, it was 11 o'clock at night and they were heading up the hill away from St. Petersburg where the graveyard was located.

6.1.1. Huck and Tom were walking around the place, but Huck was scared because he thought he saw ghosts, they both approached some trees to observe and it turned out that they were not ghosts but Muff Potter, Injun Joe and Doctor Robinson, where Tom and Huck discovered that they wanted to dig and rob a grave.

6.1.2. While Injun Joe and Muff were digging the grave, Injun Joe and the Doctor were arguing about the payment they would get, the Doctor refused and Injun Joe got angry causing the Doctor to hit him. Between so many blows and arguments between the three men, in a fit of anger Injun Joe stabs the doctor with his knife, when he saw that he killed the doctor while Muff was unconscious, he gave him the knife and framed him.

6.1.3. The next day the sheriff found the doctor's body and Muff Potter's knife, arrested him for 4 weeks and awaited trial. Tom and Huck could not forget what happened they were unhappy and very afraid, they wanted to help Muff by saying he was not the murderer but they kept silent because they were afraid.

7. On Jackson's Island

7.1. Summer came and school was out. Tom didn't want to think about Muff Potter and Injun Joe, but it wasn't easy to sleep, in the dark he imagined Injun Joe, it was hard to sleep, but he couldn't tell anyone what happened.

7.1.1. To forget about everything Tom, Joe Harper and Huck decided to go to an island near St. Petersburg, Jackson's island where they spent exciting days.

7.1.2. When touring the island a little the next day they noticed that many boats were looking for them because they were presumed dead, noticing this Tom decided to return to investigate and found that their families were crying and sad and organized a funeral for them on Sunday.

7.1.3. Sunday in the church was a very bad day for St. Petersburg because children from that place had died, everybody was crying, everybody was sad, but at that moment the children arrived and everybody was impressed and touched by their arrival. That was the best and the happiest funeral in St. Petersburg.

8. Treasure

8.1. Tom and Huck on a hot summer day decide to go digging a treasure, while they were looking for where they wanted to dig and decided to go to Cardiff Hill where there was a dead tree, they walked a lot until they reached the place but they did not find anything interesting when digging.

8.1.1. Then they noticed that there was an old house so they decided to take a look in that place, they found a Spanish man who was with Injun Joe talking about a large amount of money and where he was.

8.1.2. They talked about points of reference where the other was the money that Injun Joe would hide, but being afraid of him they did not pursue him.

8.1.3. For a week the boys thought and thought about the treasure, but they didn't know where it was. In Saint Petersburg the boys saw the Spaniard but they did not see a cross (where the treasure was found), nor did they find the treasure.
