1. Overall structure
1.1. Seesaw creates a simplistic structure that allows your teacher to find or create activities to share with your child.
1.2. Parents are able to continuously be involved in their child's school work which encourages them to participate in the classroom activities.
1.3. Seesaw allows students to learn how to use technology appropriately and actively involves parents into their education as well.
2. Can parents comment on their kids’ work/posts?
2.1. Any "connected" parent or family member can comment on their students work.
2.2. Parents can also leave voice comments on posts as well, only need to tap the microphone icon near the comment box to start recording.
3. Ease of use
3.1. An invite to join your child's journal can be sent in an email or a text.
3.2. A "connected" parent can sign up to receive SMS notifications about updates for their child's journal.
3.3. Up to 10 family members can join onto one child's journal.
3.4. All messages can be translated into over 100 languages by Seesaw so that every parent is able to be involved.
4. How to contact your child's teacher
4.1. Messaging teachers can happen directly on Seesaw by using "Messages" from the home page, once an account is made.
4.2. Parents can also reply directly to a teacher from an announcement.
5. Important feature:
5.1. Teachers are able to create a group chat with a student and family member to discuss the student's progress.
