Grammar

1. Grammar is the science that has its object of study the components of of a language and its combinations. The concept finds its origin in the latin term grammatica and refers, on the other hand, to the art of mastering a language correctly, both from speech and with writing.

1.1. Prescriptive grammar

1.1.1. Is the one that presents rules of use for a specific language, disconcourages certain construction. Traditional grammar is typically prescriptive.

1.2. Descriptive grammar

1.2.1. As its name suggests, it is a grammar that aims to describe the various disciplines used, such as phonetics, phonology, morphology and syntax.
