Apollo & Daphne

1. Apollo imagined her beauty when she was in a nice dress and neat hair instead of in disarray.

2. Apollo chased after her but Daphne, being a good runner, ran away.

3. Daphne ran to the river of her father, Peneus, and asked for help.

4. Daphne was wearing short dress, with arms exposed, and messed up hair. This was beautiful to Apollo.

5. When Daphne had almost reached the river, Apollo transformed her into a laurel tree to give her eternal life and many uses.
