1. Screening tools are designed only to identify any developmental delays , they are not diagnoses.

2. Different developmental screening tools may be administered by professionals, community service providers and in some cases by parents.

3. Autism Canada has four screening tools based on the age of the individual.

4. Severity Level of 3 requires very substantial support.

5. Severity Level of 2 requires substantial support.

6. Severity Level of 1 require support.
