1. The nurtures Of Gender

1.1. Gender role: A set of expectations on how men and women should behave.

3. Patriarchy

3.1. Patriarchy refers to a male-dominated society. In a patriarchal society, men hold primary power in all aspects of the society such as politics, family, etc.

3.2. Women could gain some status and privilege in patriarchy by limiting her child-bearing capacity to just one man so that he could depend on her children being his children.

4. Gender Analysis

4.1. a gender analysis that addresses the connections of gender with factors such as race, ethnicity, culture, class, age, disability, and/or other status,

4.2. An analysis of gender relations provides information on the different conditions that women and men face, and the different effects that policies and programs may have on them because of their situations..

4.3. Gender analysis offers information to understand women's and men's access to and control over resources that can be used to address disparities, challenge systemic inequalities (most often faced by women), and build efficient and equitable solutions.

5.1. It is an interdisciplinary field of research and applied study that implements a feminist approach to understanding and addressing the disparate impact that economic development.

6.1. Womens Empowerment

6.1.1. A 'bottom's up' process of transforming gender power relations, through individuals of group developing awareness of women's subordination and building their capacity to challenge it.

6.2.1. The recognition of women's rights are women rights and that women's experience injustices solely because of their gender.

7.1. Is when all genders have equal rights, responsibilities and oppurtunities.

7.2. Ex. Gender is something we express (gender expression), sometimes intentionally, and sometimes without thinking. We communicate our gender in a number of ways, for example by the way we dress, the way we move, our hair style, and the way we interact with others.

8.2.3. Gay

8.2.3.1. Gay is a term that primarily refers to a homosexual person or the trait of being homosexual.

8.2.4. Bisexual

8.2.4.1. Sexually attracted not exclusively to people of one particular gender; attracted to both men and women.

8.3. The basic way we categorize with people.

9. Gender-Alikes and Different

9.1. Social Power

9.1.1. Males is more Directive and dominant.

9.1.2. Females are more democratic and supportive.

9.2. Agression

9.2.1. Males are more on physical agressive.

9.2.2. Females are more on verbal agression.

9.3. Social Connectedness

9.3.1. Boys are more active and more competitive.

9.3.2. Girls are less competitive and have less groups.
