2. There are no costs associated with this service.

3. Once the referral reaches intake, NEOFACS may decide to make another referral if they feel that there is another agency or program that is more appropriate to the student’s immediate needs.

4. NEOFACS provides services such as protection services, mental health counselling, early learning and intervention, Autism and child protection, and youth justice. The method of referral depends on the service required.

5. A Guidance Counsellor can make a call directly to NEOFACS to request counselling services. The student must consent to these services.

6. This is a great resource for northern communities. Guidance counsellors are also able to contact NEOFACS for education services. To educate staff or students on their resources.

7. When you make a call in order to make a referral all that is required is the student's name and reason for referral and NEOFACS explores the rest!
