1.1. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Aaron, for 3 years this March.
1.2. We have a beautiful daughter who will be 2 years old in May. Parenting takes up the majority of my "spare" time.
1.3. We live in Montgomery County, Maryland, just outside of Washington DC's Beltway.
2. Hobbies
2.1. I participate in 2 book clubs; however because I have very little spare time, I recently have started listening to audiobooks during my commute. I'm currently "reading"Helter Skelter by Curt Gentry and Vincent Bugliosi.
2.2. I enjoy running and HIIT cardio! I try to get up every day by 5:30am to get in my morning workout.
2.3. I also enjoy video games. My husband bought me a Nintendo Switch a few days before I decided to start this Master's program, so I try to find time to play when I'm not doing my school work!
3. Work
3.1. I work as a Program Manager for a local behavioral healthcare provider, Cornerstone Montgomery.
3.2. I have worked for the same company since April 2010.
3.3. My department's main purpose is to help individuals in mental health/substance use recovery to find and maintain employment and to promote financial independence.
4. Education
4.1. I graduated from Georgetown University in 2010, with a double major in Psychology and Philosophy, and a minor in Government.
4.2. I started the online MBA program at Carey just this spring. This is is my 2nd class!
4.3. I am also a Community Partner Work Incentives Counselor (CPWIC), certified by VCU, to provide Entitlements counseling to Social Security Beneficiaries.
