Malaysia's leadership and Dr. Mahathir's past reelection are also key factors in Malaysia's strong commitment and anti-Israel advocacy for Palestine

1.3. the Palestinians are so rejoicing with Malaysia’s stance against the Israeli athletes and continue to spread positive image of Malaysia around their country. 1.4. the regional Asean coalition of NGOs for Palestine supported the government's attempt to prohibit Israeli athletes from participating in the country's sports activities. "The Asean Regional NGO Coalition for Palestine supports Malaysia's position to ban Israel's athletes from entering Malaysia at the 2019 Para Swimming Championship," he says. NGOs added that Israel is an apartheid state and violated international human rights laws that have impunity for millions of Palestinians.

2. Malaysia and its Anti-Semitic Prime Minister

3. Negative implications on Sarawak

3.1. The costs and businesses not paid by the cancellation of the World Paralympic Swimming Championship in Kuching, airlines and related companies are counted by the federal government

3.2. After the 2019 World Para Swim Championships in Malaysia last year, Sarawak is likely to lose some RM5 million (USD 1.65 million).

3.3. Sarawak really took the sports tourism seriously as they really need a recognition in the international arena which might be a big help for the economic gain of the federal and state government.

3.4. After Kuching was recognized as the venue for the event, the Government of Sarawak spent money on the preparation of the event.
