1.1. Brain (sevo): receives and processes sensory information, initiates responses, stores, memories generates thoughts and emotions. (resevwa ak trete enfòmasyon sansoryèl, inisye repons, magazen, memwa jenere panse ak emosyon.)
1.1.1. Structures of the Brain: Cerebrum, Cerebellum, Brain Stem, Thalamus and Hypothalamus. (Estrikti nan sèvo a: Cerebrum, Cerebellum, Tij nan sèvo, talamus ak ipotalamus)
1.1.1.1. Parts of the Cerebrum: Frontal lobe, Parietal lobe, Temporal lobe, Occipital lobe. (Pati nan sèvo a: Frontal lobe, lary paretal, lòb tanporèl, lòb oksipital.)
1.2. Spinal Cord (mwal epinyè): conducts signals to and from the brain, controls reflex activities. (fè siyal pou ale ak pou soti nan sèvo a, kontwole aktivite reflèks)
2. Peripheral Nervous System or PNS (Periferik sistèm nève): Receives info from the environment and relays commands from the CNS to organs and glands. (Resevwa enfòmasyon ki soti nan la anviwònman ak rle kòmandman ki soti nan sistèm nève santral la ògàn ak glann.)
2.1. Sensory (Afferent) Division [sansoryel (aferan) divizyon]: sends impulses from the senses to the CNS. (Voye enpilsyon soti nan sans yo nan sistem neve santral la).
2.2. Motor (Efferent) Division [mote (eferans) divizyon]: sends impulses from the Central Nervous System to the muscles and glands. (voye enpilsyon nan sistem neve santral la na misk ak glann)
2.2.1. Somatic Nervous System (Somatik sistèm nève): voluntary muscle control (kontwòl misk volontè).
2.2.2. Autonomic Nervous System (sistèm nève otonòm): involuntary muscle control. (kontwòl misk envolontè.)
2.2.2.1. Sympathetic Division (senpatik divizyon): used in emergency situations, "fight or flight". (itilize nan sitiyasyon ijans, "batay oswa vòl").
2.2.2.2. Parasympathetic Division (parasimpatik divizyon): reduces sympathetic response and provides resting functions such as digestion and urination. (diminye repons senpatik epi li bay fonksyon repoze tankou dijesyon ak pipi.)
