1. MERISTEMATIC TISSUE
1.1. Apical Meristem:Present at tip of root and shoot and increases the length of the stem and root. Primary Growth
1.2. Lateral Meristem:Present at the girth of stem and increases thickness of root and shoot. Secondary Growth
1.3. Intercalary Meristem:Present at the base of node and leaves and increases height.Increasing length of internode and repairing of leaves.
2. PERMANENT TISSUE
2.1. Simple:Made up of only one component
2.1.1. Parenchyma:Thin cell wall.Intercellular Space more.Living tissue
2.1.2. Collenchyma:Made up of cellulose,pectin.Very little intercellular space.Mechanical Support.Flexability.Living tissue.Thick cell wall.
2.1.3. Sclernchyma:Presence of Lignin.Protection to plants.Thick cell wall.No intercellular space.Dead Tissue.
