Assertive Technology and The Four Steps Of Assessmment

1. Step1- Referral for the Assitive Technology Assessment. Referral are made by physican, family member, teacher and a few others.

2. Step 2-Conducting An Assitive Technology. This provides information based data gathred including students records and assessment as well as skills.

3. The Individuallized Education Team A multidisciplinary data is collected and reviewed to create an IEP.

4. Implementation of the Assitive Techonology Device. The IEP provides support throughout the educational process of the student for which the IEP was created.
