THE BLACK CAT.

1. CHARACTERS: Young married couple, pets especially Pluto: Black cat of remarkable size, completely black, and amazing sagacity.

2. SCENARIO (PLACE AND TIME): Jail, tells the story one day before he dies to ease his soul.

3. IMPORTANT EVENTS: -The night he returned home totally drunk and with his penknife he held the cat by the neck and made one eye pop. - The morning in which, acting in cold blood, he hanged the cat on a tree branch. –One night he found a cat just like Pluto except for a white spot that covered his chest. –He threw his ax to kill the animal, but his wife raised her hand to intervene then a demonic rage made him sink the ax into his head and fell dead at his feet. - I wall up the corpse of his wife in the basement just like in the Middle Ages.

4. END: This horrible outcome ends on the fourth day after having sandwiched the corpse of his wife, where in a visit by the police in an abnormal act, a howl reveals the corpse of his wife.

5. BEGINNING: The man in the story was noted for his docility and kindness in character and a love for animals straight from his heart; He married young and in his marriage leads a home life, peaceful with his cat named Pluto and his wife who shared his preferences.

6. MIDDLE: The young man begins to get carried away by the drink. Alcohol makes him irascible and in one of his fits of fury he ends the life of the animal after gouging out an eye. A second Pluto-like cat appears on the scene, the young man in a fit of rage tries to decapitate the cat with an ax, but ends up killing his wife.
