1. Cinderellas mom dies, and then her father gets a new wife. Her stepmom got two daugthers and they are pretty on the outside, but ugly on the inside. One day Cinderellas father took to a fair. Before he travelled he asked the two Stepdaughters and Cinderella, if he should take something with him home for them. The stepsister's wanted pearls and jewellerys and beautiful dresses. Cinderella wanted a twig from a hazel tree. So the father brought these things with him home.

2. The prince invited all the beautiful girls in the kingdom, so that his son could select a bride for himself to a 3 days long festival. Cinderella wanted to go, but her stepmother said that she couldn't go, because she looked dirty, and couldn't dance. Because Cinderella kept asking, the stepmother finally said, "I have scattered a bowl of lentils into the ashes for you. If you can pick them out again in two hours, then you may go with us." She could pick them all out but she may still not go to the festival. but

3. Cinderella went to the 3 days long festival, and she wore a gold and silver dress with slippers embroidered with silk and silver. The stepsisters and the stepmother didn't recognize her. They never once thought it was Cinderella. The princed asked her to dance. She danced all evening but at a point she wanted to go home, and the prince asked if he could escort her home, but Cinderella eluded him and jumped into the pigeon coop.
