Creating a Zombie Proof Stronghold on Lummi Island により Mind Map: Creating a Zombie Proof Stronghold on Lummi Island

1. Location: Lummi Island Washington

2. Physical characteristics of Lummi Island: Lummi Island is full of trees, dirt, animals, and mountains. Lummi Island is fairly small its about 9,25 miles wide and full of grass and forests. Lummi Island has some small drops and cliffs with running rivers and a nearby ocean. All these land forms were formed years ago by glaciers and heavy tide that rose the land. These land forms could change over time with global warming and the rising ocean. The island could shrink or forests could be washed away.

3. Population density: Lummi Island is not very populated. As of 2010 there were only 822 people living there. I chose this island because of its low population. I did not want a heavily populated area because the lights and noise will attract zombies. but I also wanted some people for company. This means there are about 88 people per square mile.

4. Natural hazards: Lummi Island offers many hazards such as cliffs, harsh waves from the ocean, bugs and hostile animals in the forest. To avoid these hazards we should stay out of animals way, build our stronghold away from cliffs, and stay away from fishing when the ocean is stormy.

5. Climate: Lummi island is a rainy area which means fresh water! Lummi gets about 34 inches of rain per year, about 4 inches of snow, 158 sunny days ans 158 rainy days. The average high is 73 and the average low is 34. This climate is almost perfect weather its not too hot and does'nt normally get below freezing

6. Natural resources nearby: Lummi Island offers many natural resources. It has dirt, logs, water, rocks, animals, and fish. Animals and fish can be used for food. Logs and dirt for houses, and water for drinking. The logs and dirt would be our main priority because they will be used to build an underground stronghold.
