2. Specific Learning Goals

2.1. For students to be able to plan a short animation about cyber safety for a buddy class

2.2. Students to demonstrate their knowledge of the cyber safety rule in the animation plan

2.3. To be able to export and print their brainstorm/plan from the iPad application

3.2. Class set of iPads - With Sling note application

3.3. KWL Chart

3.4. Rubric

3.5. Class computers and printer

4. Introduction

4.1. Review of the different cyber safety rules/guideline we have been learning about in the last two lessons

4.2. Look over KLW Chart what things have we learnt? Have we been covering the ideas we wanted to know more about?

4.3. Discussing project - Going to be creating a video/animation about one of the cyber safety rules/ guidelines we have learnt about.

4.4. Going to using the application Sling Note Today to create a brainstorm of different ideas to include in your video and what your characters are going to say.

4.4.1. Give students instructions on how to use the sling not application. Show them the different features of the application anyhow to use them

4.5. Hand out class set of iPads

5. Body

5.1. Firstly, students will need to discuss what rule/ guideline they will be making their video about and the different things they will need to include in the brainstorms

5.2. Allow students to use the iPads to create their brainstorms.

5.3. Walk around and observe students, give feedback on different things they need to discuss.

6. Conclusion

6.1. Bring students down to the mat and get some students display their brainstorms onto the IWB. Give feedback

6.2. Show students how to export their brainstorms to the camera roll. Then show them how to print to the class printer or email to themselves and then print from a class computer.
