4. Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) is a cardiac arrhythmia characterized by very rapid or erratic beating. SVT is also called paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT)

5.1. •Atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT)

5.2. •Atrioventricular reciprocating tachycardia (AVRT)

5.3. •Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (a type of AVRT)

6. Supraventricular Tachycardia EKG Strip

6.1. Rhythm: Regular

6.2. Rate: Fast (150-250 bpm)

6.3. P Wave: Merged with T wave

6.4. PR Interval: Normal (0.12 sec)

6.5. QRS: Normal (.10 sec)

6.6. Notes: PR interval can be difficult to measure
