Define the Problem: I am being bullied in school what should I do? により Mind Map: Define the Problem: I am being bullied in school what should I do?

1. Explore the Alternatives: I could confront the bully in the hallway. I could spread rumors about the bully. Maybe even talk to my parents about them and see what to do, or ask counselling and parents.

1.1. Consider the consequences: Confronting the bully could lead into a fight, and both of us would be scolded by the teacher. If I confront the bully I could also cause a resolution between the to of us, then I will be in peace. Asking the counselling office may make me seem like a snitch, and my parents may give the wrong advice because the newer generation's morals might be different. I might be able to get 2 opinions out of this at the same time and resolve the conflict. Plus my parents know me the best.

1.1.1. Identify the values: Confronting the bully would seem like a ill advised thing to do according to family tradition, and the bully might injure me. Destroying my health. Also it would go against my values. Same would go for spreading rumour. Whereas asking my parents and counselling office wouldn't go against any of my family tradition.

1.1.1.1. Decide and Act: I choose to ask counselling and my parents for help, because my consequences aren't very great compared to the other decisions which go against my morals.

1.1.1.1.1. Evaluate the results: The decision helped me by getting 2 opinions, and being able to resolve a conflict by getting help with people who now me best and those whose jobs are to give good advice. I have also resolved the conflict with the bully, and I have done it without damaging me and my health. I learnt that more violence is never the answer to violence.
