Career Mapping

1. Work Experience

1.1. I plan on attending study abroad opportunities in places like China that have a ton of businesses that have Computer Science sectors that are just getting involved in the industry. This would prove to be a great work experience to document as it would provide me the opportunity to get involved with an actual company, first hand.

2. Student Organizations

2.1. There are many organizations that I will indulge in, but most importantly NSBE(National Society of Black Engineers) that will provide me the opporttunity to intern at Microsoft and possibly earn myself a spot on their team as a software engineer.

3. Research

3.1. I plan on becoming any type of intern or lab researcher in order to get a feel for the lab and the process of analyzing data for future opportunities, even if it doesn't entail Computer Science.

4. Academic

4.1. Spring 2018: I plan on utilizing the Career resource center more often to track my career goals and ambitions and make sure I am on the path that is most ideal for me.

5. Social

5.1. Spring 2018: I plan on going to more Gator Nights events as well as football games, and possibly a fraternity party, as long as I have others to accompany me and make sure everything goes smoothly. I might even become part of the Gator Nights team if possible, providing me involvement in being a leader of sorts.
