1. COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course will provide professional development for teachers interested in incorporating instructional technology into their daily curriculum. ISTE Standards for Educators (2019) require instructors to “design authentic, learner driven activities…create opportunities for students to innovate and solve problems…[and] provide alternate ways for students to demonstrate competency”. Nearpod is an exceptional, user-friendly tool for both the tech-savvy and the tech-challenged educator and/or student.
