Force and pressure
by Naomi Yeo

1. Force
1.1. A force is a push or a pull that one object exerts on one another.
1.1.1. New node
1.2. Forces cannot be seen but their effects can be seen and felt
1.3. When we push a plasticine ball, it starts to roll. A force can make an object move.
1.4. Force=mass x acceleration
1.5. The standard unit for force is :Newton (N)
1.6. Types
1.6.1. Magnetic force
1.6.1.1. Magnetic force is present when magnets or magnetized metals attract other magnetic materials
1.6.2. Friction
1.6.2.1. Friction is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers, and material elements sliding against each other
1.6.3. Gravitational force
2. Pressure
2.1. Pressure is the amount of force exerted per area
2.1.1. Pressure= Force/Area
