6.1. Myth: Each person learns differently and has a learning style

6.2. It isn't learning styles that people have, it is prior knowledge, experiences, and developmental levels that they bring when learning something new

6.2.1. It is best for teachers to teach a concept on a spectrum from concrete to abstract, starting with concrete.

7. Print reading vs. Digital reading

7.1. Purpose

7.1.1. The reason for the reading can make a difference on whether print or digital is more appropriate

7.1.1.1. If reading to answer general questions it doesn't matter if it is done with print or digital

7.1.1.2. If reading to answer specific text questions then print has been shown to be better suited

7.2. Assumptions

7.2.1. Just because a student is holding a piece of technology, doesn't mean that they are going to be learning better than if they were not using technology.
