COMMUNICATIVE LANGUAGE TEACHING (CLT)

1. STORY
1.1. The origins of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) are to be found in the changes in the British language teaching tradition dating from the late 1960s.
2. WHAT IS
2.1. is en approach to language teaching emphasizes interaction as both the means and ultimate goal of study.
3. CHARACTERISTICS
3.1. CLT emphasizes to engage the learners in real-life situations in the classroom so that they can understand how communication in the real world.
3.2. gives the importance of the necessity of the learners and attempts to explain it.
3.3. error are considered in a natural phenomenon.
3.4. CLT focuses on the fluency of the learners rether than the accuracy of the grammar and learners acquire their accuracy gradually and naturally.
3.5. Communication is fundamental objectives of language and learners need to develop all the skill of language. (reading, listening, writting and speaking)
4. EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM AND CLT
4.1. If they changed traditional teaching to CLT, it would bring with it benefits since the objective would be or focoused on students that educators are interested in the needs and desires of theoir students, creating phrases regarding meaning but it is also said that without grammaticals rules or perfcet pronunciation, that could be a little complicated because at some point students would need to know it, but as time they can apply it.
5. STORY
5.1. CLT was said to have originated from Britain during th 1960s. I served as a replacement to the popular method known as Situational Language Teaching which based on the structural view of language.

6.1. This approach is more student-oriented and is based on their needs and interests.

6.4.1. that is more interesting and motivating for children.
