3.1. Don't run in the classroom

3.1.1. why: if you trip you can harm your self or others

3.2. Don't drink any thing in the class room

3.2.1. why: chemicals that are air borne may fall on to what your drinking

3.3. don't eat in the classroom

3.3.1. why: chemicals are in the air may land/fall on to the food you are eating

3.4. pull the plug not the wire

3.4.1. why: if you pull the plug you wont damage the appliance. where as if you pulled the wire you might break the wire and damage the appliance

3.5. never leave and burner on unattented

3.5.1. why: it can cause a fire to start

3.6. clean up all broken glass ware and advise the teacher of it

3.6.1. why: broken glass is dangerous

3.7. dont drop any thing during the labs

3.7.1. why: you might break what you droped

3.8. close all open doors that block path ways

3.8.1. why: you can trip over them and cause yourself harm as well as others in the area

3.17.1. why: smelling anything directly can be bad for your health thus you need to waft it towards you self to reduce the consternation of the chemical

3.19.1. why: thinngs can be blown over the flame while unattended and may start a fire

3.20.1. why: many chemicals can be mistaken for other chemicals based on looks so don't leave them unattended because someone may mistaken the chemical for another

3.21.1. why: they may be knocked over and damaged

3.22.1. why: to protect feet in case of a spill

3.23. remove and hanging/dangling items

3.23.1. why: to avoid them catching something and knocking them over or catching on fire
